I wish there was a fanfic which twilight tells princess celestia that dark magic was easier than light magic to her and is this normal, princess says it is normal but then thinks about how much she lied, and thinks about how twilight was full with dark magic
What eyes did you use for Twilight? I know I have seen those eyes before, but I don't know where. You did a good job on Twilight, but I think that Spike might be missing a small detail somewhere maybe. I still love this picture.
The showing of dark magic and how it was presented, truely introduced some interesting questions into the show and the universe it exists in, mainly concerning Twilight and Celestia.
Celestia herself was shown to know dark magic. In EVERY medium that has shown the existance of dark magic and the big good character using it, there always comes into question the reason of why they used. Dumbldore's past was explored somewhat in Deathly Hallows and no details are given over why Grendal the Really Old created the Curse Dolls in MapleStory. Celestia using dark magic brings up the question of how she knows it, and what puprose she used it for, which brings up even more questions about Celestia's past.
Twilight, on the other hand, has once again demonstrated her ability to mimic any spell that she has seen before. Her using dark magic is particularly troublesome as she has been proven to be highly unstable in the past, as shown by "Lesson Zero" and "It's About Time." This brings up a terrifying scenario, in which once again Twilight finds herself pushed to the brink and accidently using this dark magic. How she reacts to her suage and her own actions afterwards would present a very interesting story arc that truely evaluates how much the Mane Six value each other as friends.
There is a LOT that can be done with this, and I would love it if Hasbro would allow the concept of dark magic to be explored further in the ponyverse
I agree with pretty much everything you stated. But keep in mind, this is a kid's show so I don't have much faith in the writers taking such a risk. But then again, they did take a risk with Alicorn Twilight. Who knows right? As long as the writers don't butcher this concept, I'm all for it.
This is a bit scary!I wonder what'd happen if twilight became evil-but hey if you like mlp, you'll love Pushy!both are funny and cute-Pushy is this epic webcomic about this lonely boy who finds friends and then goes on adventures with them-but it turns into much more than that-read for yourself! The characters even match up to the mane 6!I posted it on my page- You're just in time for the season 2 premiere!Pushy is part comic, part animation, and part book.i'd love it if you could draw a pushy art one day!pushy is worth a quick read-you will not regret it.
I think this could make for a great storyline in the upcoming episodes.
Twilight is put into situatuions where she has to use this dark power more and more, arguing that it's all for the greater good so what's the problem. But she knows she's not allowed to use it, so she keeps it a secret from her friends and family.
Over time however it begins to corrupt her and makes her angry, less willing to spend time with her friends. Eventually it twists her into a unicorn as dark and aggressive as Sombra.
This forces her friends to face their biggest challenge yet. Having to prevent Twilight from going too far over the edge. Twilight good self, still trapped within her, tries to break free of the dark influence before it's too late.
I know that's a bit grim but I honestly feel this has the potential for some great drama and character development.
